The Best of the Blackberry Money Apps

Over the last couple weeks, I’ve shared with you some of my favorite personal finance apps for the iPhone and Android.  Don’t worry Blackberry users, I haven’t forgotten about you!  This week, I’ll be outlining several of the best Blackberry apps that help you stick to your budget.

Mobiletag Barcode Reader (Free)

Use your Blackberry’s camera to scan a product’s barcode. The app will then provide comparative price listings online and at other local stores, helping you get the best deal available.

QuickTips (Free)

Just like every other tip calculator, this app quickly provides you with the gratuity amount and helps to easily split checks.

PayPal (Free)

View your transaction history, check your balance, and confirm payments, all on the go!

Cellfire (Free)

Clipping coupons was sooo last year.  This app finds local deals and specials to help you stick to your budget.

DIY Calculator (Free)

Doing home projects sans hired workers is just one way to cut expenses.  Use this app to help you make your own work look professional.  It calculates how many packets of tile and wallpaper needed to cover a wall or floor, and how many cans of paint needed to cover a ceiling.

Yahoo Finance (Free)

Check your quotes, market summaries, financial news, market summaries, and other useful financial features on this free app.

Frugalytics Shopping for Smart People (Free)

Avoid spending more than you have to.  Search for a product, and this app will find a number of listings and prices.  You can also keep an eye on selected items to see if they’re further marked down in the future.

PageOnce Personal Assistant (Basic: Free  Premium: $6.99)

Combine several app features into one with this mobile personal assistant.  Access your bank and credit card accounts, track cell phone minutes, monitor frequent flier miles, get reminders about bill due dates, and check your Netflix queue and Facebook feed.  The difference between the basic and premium apps are no ads, unlimited bank accounts, and real time flight information.

Got any additions to my list?  Feel free to share your favorite personal finance apps in the comment section.
