The 10 Best New Android Money Apps

Back in February, Allison Berry wrote an article titled Android Money Apps You Can’t Live Without.  In the last six months, many new awesome money apps have been created for Android.  Best of all, many of these apps are FREE!

If you are an Android owner and are looking for some great money apps for your phone, look no further.  Here are the newest Android money apps you won’t want to miss!

Budgets (Free)

Budgets helps you track your spending to create a budget.  It allows you to see what expenses you are spending more than your budget allows for as well as see you income.

Groupon (Free)

The Groupon app features a Daily Deal and allows you to access, buy, and use Groupons.

Loan Calculator (Free)

This is a basic loan calculator that helps you see your payment plan as well as monthly and yearly amortization tables.

Checkbook (Free)

This app will help you keep track of how much money you have in your accounts so you don’t overdraft.  It’s a great way to avoid those ridiculous overdraft fees!

Pay Off Debt ($2.99)

Pay Off Debt helps you create a “debt snowball” (aka a methodical way) to pay your debts.  It also lets you see when you will be debt free.

Stock Alert (Free)

If you are into stocks, this is the app for you.  It will tell you when stocks hit a certain price which can be really useful if you are waiting to buy or sell a stock until it hits a certain price.

Shopper (Free)

Shopper will scan barcodes or recognize media and books by cover and allow you to find online and local prices for products.

Numbers (Free)

This is a great app for parents.  If you are trying to teach your kids numbers, this app makes it fun for kids to learn numbers by turning it into a game!

Financial Calculators (Free)

This app contains a variety of financial calculators (i.e. tip, inflation, tax bracket, etc) so chances are if you are looking for a specific calculator, this app has it.

US Economy (Free)

This app provides users with current charts and graphs of US economic information (i.e. US national debt, housing, inflation, etc).  This is great information given the current state of our economy.

The best part about this list is that most of these apps are free, which means you have no reason not to use them!  So be sure to put these apps on your Android and get ready to watch your finances improve!
